If you've never heard a bunch of camera guys trying to sing harmony then you are a far luckier person than I am. I'm not sure who on set found out that it's my birthday, but it's been a very surreal day because of it. No one believes that I would honestly rather not get any special attention. My ego is just fine without it, thanks, and sucking up to me isn't going to get them very far. Also, according to our chattiest extra, it's never to early to start lying about my age. Despite the fact that I'm well under thirty and male and seriously no one cares. I work in a very strange industry.

I have to admit, this is not completely stupid. In fact, it made me snicker more than once. Think it could be the next big film? Set it in a highschool? Maybe get one of the tarts from Gossip Girl to play Ophelia. We're not talking Oscar quality here, but it could make some serious money.

No, you're right the Facebook film thing has so been done. That's yesterday's news. And by yesterday, I mean several hours ago. I'm embarrassed to have even mentioned it.

Arrant knaves, all. Thieves broke into my flat while I was away. No. Not thieves. Complete shit for brains thieves. They nicked my laptop and then completely tossed the place. Sane or intelligent criminals would have stolen the fancy camera equipment instead of breaking it, for the record. Damaging a Zi8 should be a whole separate class of crime. The door is off the hinges and the place is a complete mess. I believe the appropriate phrase at this moment is, Fuck My Life.

I feel rather like a stranger in a strange land, but I will say one thing for California, they have a brilliant film scene. I will definitely be sticking around for this premiere tomorrow night. I'm sure I can find plenty of ways to entertain myself until then?

Is it always this thrilling around here, or is today a special occasion?

I guess I should introduce myself since I'm new to this system. I'm Lorne, I'm a filmmaker, and the good fellow keeping me company is Hamlet. That ought to cover it? If I'm doing this all wrong please let me know.

Does anyone know anything about that prison escape that's in the news? Is that the sort of thing that happens a lot in the reincarnate world?
